		Abstract:  This data set is a linear representation of the Kansas non-state system minus some city streets.  The roads were digitized from the Kansas Department of Transportation's 1:63,360-scale county maps and updated through field inventory to 1988 or better.
		Purpose:  The data provided is an attempt to disseminate the most up to date roadway coverage of the non-state system as possible.

		Process Step:  
			Process Description:  MicroStation county maps were projected using MGE Projection Manager.  Roads were then digitized over the 2002 DOQQs in MicroStation.  Using a CAD Server Schema, the roads were outputted into an Access database which could then be read by Intergraph's GeoMedia Professional.
